Role: Business Analyst

Likely responsibilities:

Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Document functional and technical requirements.
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Work with business users, developers, QA teams and project managers.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
Prepare process flows, use cases, user stories and other requirements documentation.
Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, testing and implementation.
Support system/application enhancements and troubleshooting.
Perform data analysis and validation.
Coordinate with technical teams during development and testing.
Develop and execute UAT/test scenarios and assist users during acceptance testing.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
Track issues, risks and requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare status reports and communicate project updates to stakeholders.

Preferred background:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
Experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment.
Strong requirements-gathering and documentation skills.
Experience with SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
Strong SQL/data-analysis skills would be useful.
Experience with ERP/financial systems, particularly Oracle, would be valuable given specialization.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
