Role: Business Analyst

Likely responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
- Document functional and technical requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with business users, developers, QA teams and project managers.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Prepare process flows, use cases, user stories and other requirements documentation.
- Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, testing and implementation.
- Support system/application enhancements and troubleshooting.
- Perform data analysis and validation.
- Coordinate with technical teams during development and testing.
- Develop and execute UAT/test scenarios and assist users during acceptance testing.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
- Track issues, risks and requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare status reports and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
Preferred background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment.
- Strong requirements-gathering and documentation skills.
- Experience with SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong SQL/data-analysis skills would be useful.
- Experience with ERP/financial systems, particularly Oracle, would be valuable given specialization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
