Primary Skills:
VMware NSX | VMware Avi / AVI Load Balancer | VCF
Role Overview:
- Looking for an experienced NSX AVI Architect to lead the strategic design and end-to-end implementation of the VMware Avi Load Balancer within a VCF 9.1 private cloud environment for a large financial organization.
- The architect will work across VPC, NSX networking, OpenShift, Kubernetes and VM workload environments, providing both deep technical expertise and customer-facing architecture leadership.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of VMware experience.
- Strong hands-on NSX architecture and design.
- VMware Avi / AVI Load Balancer expertise.
- VCF 9.x experience – hands-on preferred.
- vSphere, NSX, vSAN, VCF Automation & VCF Operations.
- VKS / Kubernetes networking.
- Hybrid Cloud – VMC on AWS, AVS or GCVE.
- Physical fabric integration / EVPN.
- Strong BGP & OSPF knowledge.
- Highly available architecture.
- Container networking & network convergence.
- Multi-region / multi-site NSX design.
- NSX migration and lifecycle planning.
- HLD / LLD, architecture diagrams & deployment blueprints.
- Customer-facing discovery and design workshops.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working with technical and executive stakeholders.
Certification:
VMware Cloud Foundation Architect – 2V0-13.25
